A leading company in the water treatment and environmental technology sector is seeking a Technical Sales Support Engineer to play a key role in technical and commercial support.

The position is based at the Italian branch office in Bolzano, but the selected candidate will be fully engaged in the company’s international operations, working closely with the head office in London.

Salary : Negotiable, depending on experience

Working Hours : Monday to Friday

Start Date : ASAP

Location : Italian branch office in Bolzano, hybrid flexibility possible

Travel : Mainly to client sites in Italy and within the EU regions

Technical and Sales Support Engineer Main Responsibilities :

  • Conduct preliminary analysis and technical feasibility studies
  • Design and size MBR (Membrane Bioreactor) plants
  • Coordinate and support external design studios
  • Analyse competitors and develop competitive technical solutions
  • Support project development in collaboration with customers
  • Deliver technical workshops and tailored customer presentations
  • Assist the Regional Manager in commercial network development
  • Perform on-site inspections and technical field visits
  • The role includes initial technical training at the company’s London office and at the headquarters in Japan (Tokyo / Osaka).

Technical and Sales Support Engineer Ideal Candidate :

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Environmental Engineering or a related field
  • Minimum 3 years of project design and management experience in the water treatment sector, preferably with MBR technology knowledge
  • Strong technical analysis and feasibility study skills
  • Experience in customer relationship management and project development
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and field assessment capability
  • Fluency in Italian and English (spoken and written); Spanish or German is a plus
  • Ability to work independently and remotely
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
