GOSP - Generali Operations Service Platform is a joint-venture between Generali and Accenture and provides IT and Procurement services to Generali Group companies. Our purpose is to accelerate the Group's innovation and digitization strategy through the Cloud and shared platforms. Based in Italy it has 5 branches across Europe and employs about 1,000 people.

The candidate will be part of the team Program NEXT. The Technical Analyst is responsible for :

  • Knowledge of business processes and IT infrastructure to support Projects and Operations.
  • Knowledge of applications in scope of the service, adjust or reconfigure applications and processes.
  • Oversees the entire applications development process.
  • Analyzes customer or user needs, designs program, instructs computer programmers, tests design, and documents programs.

Main tasks :

  • Building, designing, examining, and implementing a structured IT system.
  • Meeting with and building relationships with stakeholders in order to understand and meet their requirements.
  • Gathering feedback from end users in order to continue improving systems effectively.
  • Communicating with various teams including Developers and IT Managers in order to build and implement technology solutions.
  • Being able to quickly translate business requirements into technical solutions : analyze business needs by working with business users directly, assess current processes and systems and propose solutions that will allow users to do their work in a simpler and faster way.
  • Planning, monitoring, organizing, and overseeing IT projects.
  • Running tests or investigations on system or application issues and being able to provide solutions within a timely manner.
  • Assure the compliance with the internal applicable policies.
  • Being aware of the latest technology trends and developments, demonstrable experience in understanding patterns and implementation of technology capabilities.
  • Analyze the as-is situation of data usage and corresponding business processes, propose a to-be situation for improving user experience with data.
  • Works with and across other leaders, architects and implementation leads to ensure that a solution aligns and is consistent with both design guidelines and functional standards across different countries.
  • Hard Skills :

  • Knowledge of IFRS principles (IFRS17 and IFRS9) and Background Actuarial Non-Life.
  • Knowledge of Software Lifecycle, Lean Project Management, Agile and Waterfall, ITIL.
  • Knowledge of SQL database language, programming languages and relational databases.
  • English Professional level, other languages advantage (Italian, German, French).
  • Soft Skills :

  • Attitude to team working.
  • Able to manage autonomously the relationship with all the stakeholders, internal and external.
  • Problem solving.
  • Outstanding communication and relational skills.
