Arcadis is seeking a Technical Advisory - Building Consultant in Lombardia, Milano to drive due diligence processes for real estate projects. You will perform document analysis, site visits, and cost estimations while coordinating with legal, tax and environmental advisors.

The role requires 3–5 years of experience, degrees in Architecture/Civil Engineering, and strong English/Italian communication, with travel across domestic and international sites.

Competenze

• Bachelor's and master's degree preferably in Architecture or Civil Engineering
• Excellent Italian and English language proficiency (B2/C1)
• 3-5 years of due diligence experience in Real Estate or technical studios
• Excellent analytical and synthesis skills
• Strong relationship-building and teamwork mindset
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Knowledge of drawing and design software (Autocad)
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally

Role description

We are seeking a motivated and skilled individual to join our team as a Technical Advisory - Building Consultant. In this role, you will play an integral part in driving the economic and professional growth of our organization conducting due diligence activities. Your responsibilities will include feasibility checks and analysis, utilizing a combination of documentation analysis and site visits. Additionally, you will serve as a valuable point of reference for our clients and colleagues within the Group.

Role accountabilities

• Document analysis: Verification of authorization, cadastral, urban planning, and building documentation.
• Site visits to verify the condition of the properties, identify defects and deviations, and assess the costs required for compliance (Capital Expenditure Plan estimation).
• Analysis of the property's maintenance status through site visits.
• Tenancy analysis and lease contracts.
• Support to the client during negotiation phases and drafting of purchase agreements in coordination with involved legal, tax, and environmental advisors.
• Preparation of checklists and formulation of Q&A.
• Analysis of real estate development progress.
• Verification of project and building quality and timelines.
• Analysis of construction contracts and incurred costs.
• Verification of SALs (Stato Avanzamento Lavori)
• Certification of work progress with cash flow updates.

Qualifications & Experience

• Around 3-5 years of due diligence experience in Real Estate companies and/or technical studios
• A Bachelor's and master's degree, preferably in Architecture or Civil Engineering;
• Excellent Italian and English language proficiency (B2/C1, written and spoken);
• Excellent analytical and synthesis skills;
• Strong relationship-building skills and teamwork attitude;
• Goal-oriented mindset;
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office;
• Knowledge of drawing and design software (Autocad);
• Availability to travel domestically and internationally.

The annual salary range for this position is € 30.000 - € 39.400.
