You will conduct technical demos, lead innovation sessions, and collaborate with cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate has over 5 years of experience in technical roles, a strong understanding of AppSec technologies, and excellent communication skills. Technical Advisor – Application Security Software

Location : Italy | Industry : Enterprise Software | Experience : 5+ Years

We’re hiring a Technical Advisor to support pre-sales activity for a leading Application Security platform within a major global software provider. This customer-facing role is all about shaping solutions, leading technical engagements, and helping enterprise clients understand the value of robust AppSec tooling.

What You’ll Do :

Lead technical demos, workshops, PoCs, and innovation sessions

Own the technical response to RFPs and client requirements

Become a go-to expert in all aspects of the AppSec platform

Collaborate with sales, services, and product teams to progress deals

Contribute to reusable technical collateral and partner enablement

Stay sharp on AppSec trends, tools, and developer ecosystems

Build your network and drive product awareness across digital platforms

What You’ll Bring :

5+ years in a technical role (pre-sales strongly preferred)

Strong understanding of AppSec technologies : DAST, SAST, SCA, IaC, etc.

Familiarity with languages like Java, Python, JavaScript, .NET, C / C++

Experience with scripting and modern DevOps practices

Hands-on knowledge of tools like Snyk, Checkmarx, Fortify, etc.

Excellent communication skills and a consultative mindset

A university degree (or equivalent) and a passion for learning
