Position: Technical Account Manager

You will be the trusted technical partner for our customers across Europe, with a strong focus on Italy. In close collaboration with our Sales, Application Development, and Product Management teams, you will lead the technical dimension of customer projects, from concept to mass production, ensuring satisfaction and fostering long-term partnerships.

Your responsibilities:

  • Lead the technical opportunity pipeline in tandem with the Account Manager, identifying and developing new business opportunities.
  • Ensure efficient execution of customer projects, from concept phase to industrialization.
  • Promote innovative applications and product launches at targeted accounts, working closely with Application Development and Product Managers.
  • Manage the technical relationship with customers, coordinating internal support functions such as Application Center, CAE (simulation), testing, etc.
  • Provide technical data, simulation results, and testing insights to customers.
  • Support problem resolution and manage technical complaints.
  • Deliver technical training and contribute to the preparation of technical sales kits.
  • Maintain a high level of product and process expertise and contribute to market intelligence by sharing insights on customer and competitor activities.

How will you get there:

  • You hold a Master’s degree in mechanical, chemical, or process engineering, ideally with a focus on plastics or plastics processing.
  • You speak fluently in English and Italian.
  • You have at least 3 years of experience in plastic processing (e.g., injection molding).
  • You are an excellent communicator and enjoy working in interdisciplinary teams.
  • You build trustful, long-term relationships with customers.
