Position: Technical Account Manager

As a Technical Account Manager, you will be the trusted technical partner for our customers across Europe, with a strong focus on Italy. In close collaboration with our Sales, Application Development, and Product Management teams, you will lead the technical dimension of customer projects, from concept to mass production, ensuring satisfaction and fostering long-term partnerships.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Leading the technical opportunity pipeline in tandem with the Account Manager, identifying and developing new business opportunities.
  • Ensuring efficient execution of customer projects, from concept to industrialization.
  • Promoting innovative applications and product launches at targeted accounts, working closely with Application Development and Product Managers.
  • Managing the technical relationship with customers, coordinating internal support functions such as Application Center, CAE (simulation), testing, etc.
  • Providing technical data, simulation results, and testing insights to customers.
  • Supporting problem resolution and managing technical complaints.
  • Delivering technical training and contributing to the preparation of technical sales kits.
  • Maintaining a high level of product and process expertise and sharing market insights regarding customer and competitor activities.

How will you get there:

  • You hold a Master’s degree in mechanical, chemical, or process engineering, ideally with a focus on plastics or plastics processing.
  • You speak fluently in English and Italian.
  • You have at least 3 years of experience in plastic processing (e.g., injection molding).
  • You are an excellent communicator and enjoy working in interdisciplinary teams.
  • You build trustful, long-term relationships with customers.
