We are now looking for a Technical Academy Trainer – Thermal Products to join our team in Tognana, Italy!

As the Thermal Management Trainer, you will design the Thermal Management Service courses and deliver effective and complete learning experiences to Vertiv Customer Engineers, Distributors, and Customers. You will also nurture and grow the network of the Academy Thermal Management Local Trainers.

What kind of work will you be doing?

• Work with Thermal Management and Service Lines of Business to set training priorities and learning objectives, ensuring smooth technical handover from Global Training and regional Engineering teams.
• Define the content of Academy courses in collaboration with the Global Training team; lead technical committees to make collaborative decisions and approve training content and materials.
• Develop, update, and deliver training materials covering the thermal product portfolio: online theoretical content, multimedia tools, procedures, classroom materials, practical exercises, tests, and support documentation.
• Effectively deliver blended learning courses: remote self-learning, classroom sessions, exams, and diploma ceremonies; conduct courses at other centers or sites if needed.
• Conduct Train the Trainers sessions and oversee the local Trainer’s Accreditation process.
• Maintain the Tognana Training Area and demo units for optimal training experiences; support local trainers in setup and accreditation.
• Participate in unconventional educational activities (outdoor, etc.).

What will make you successful?

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Energy Engineering, or secondary school diploma with 5+ years of experience in Thermal Management.
• Service experience is preferable.
• Proficiency in English (written and spoken) and familiarity with technical terminology.
• Knowledge of main IT applications (Office).
• Previous training delivery experience is a plus.
• Customer-oriented with excellent stakeholder management skills.
• Flexible in activities, planning, and timing.
• Autonomous and well-organized.
