About The Role

At Technogym we put our customers' experience at the center of what we do. As Tech Product Owner, you manage the entire product and its development with the end user’s wellness and experience in mind at all times.

Formats are Technogym’s definition of the fitness experience for groups that use technology, equipment and fun to deliver a superior training experience for participants. You will work cross-functionally to guide product development from concept to launch, connecting technical and business worlds. You will break down work into manageable tasks, guide design teams to enhance user experience, and communicate the value of new features to marketing and commercial teams.

You will manage the product backlog, oversee sprint planning, address customer issues, document changes, and coordinate user research and data analysis to understand user behaviors and friction points.

Responsibilities

1. Influence the development of Formats within the Technogym Digital division, considering software, hardware, and entertainment aspects.
2. Own the product roadmap, managing goals, priorities, backlog, and resources to scale the team.
3. Engage with club operators, group class participants, and event attendees to understand their needs and experiences to inform product direction.
4. Communicate regularly with internal and external stakeholders, managing expectations effectively.
5. Collaborate with Engineering, Product Design, User Research, Content Production, and Product Marketing teams to facilitate decision-making and deliver an exceptional user experience.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, design, marketing, or related field
• 6+ years of experience in product management or related technical roles
• Proven experience in building and shipping technical products in a data-driven environment
• A passion for the fitness industry and group activities
• Excellent communication, technical, and prioritization skills
• Fluent in English and Italian

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree or PhD in a technology or business-related field
• 2-4 years of experience managing teams with direct reports
• Experience managing complex software and hardware products from design to market and evolution
• Experience guiding product direction based on data and user research
• Skills in gathering and analyzing customer/user requirements using various tools
