Growth Capital, a European tech investment bank in venture capital, is seeking a Tech Investment Banking Junior Analyst for its Milan office. The role targets graduates in Economics, Business, Finance or Management Engineering with internships in IB/VC/M&A and a strong office skillset.

You will work with mentors in fundraising and M&A on European startups and scaleups, interacting with clients and investors.

Competenze

• Graduated in Economics, Business, Finance or Management Engineering.
• 6 to 18 months of relevant internship in VC, M&A or IB.
• Excellent familiarity with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Significant study or work experience abroad.
• Fluent Italian, Spanish or French is a plus.

JOB DESCRIPTION

For our Milan office , we are looking for bright professionals, graduated in Economics, Business, Finance or Management Engineering with previous experiences in 1 or more internships, ideally in Investment Banking, Venture Capital or M&A who will hold the position of Tech Investment Banking Junior Analyst .

The candidate, working alongside the company mentor, will be part of one or more teams working on fundraising and M&A transactions on the best European startups and scaleups, facing clients and investors.

Expected start date: January 2027 .

MAIN ACTIVITIES AND REQUIREMENTS

With a young and dynamic team (have a look at our smart working week pictures on LinkedIn and on the website!), the Tech IB Junior Analyst will be involved in all stages of the process, performing tasks such as:

• Business Plan : preparation, maintenance and review;
• Valuation : economic-financial modelling and valuation through DCF and multiples;
• Competitionandmarketanalysis : with focus on industry trends, total addressable market calculation and competitive scenario analysis;
• Drafting of fundraising and M&A docs : teasers, pitch decks, info memorandum, both for domestic and international investors;
• Supporting senior team on relationship management: current and prospect clients and developing relationships with Italian and international investors.

The position requirements are:

• From 6 to 18 months of previous relevant experiences in VC, M&A or IB;
• Excellent familiarity in the use of the Office package (Excel, Word, PowerPoint);
• Significant study or work experience abroad ;
• Outstanding educational track record ;
• Italian , Spanish or French is a plus.
