We're building Tuttoaposto - a digital-first, data-powered MGA making home and contents insurance radically simpler, smarter, and more affordable for millions of Italian households.

Looking to build a category-defining brand in European Insurtech from scratch? We're seeking a Technical Co-Founder to own the tech vision, architecture, and execution from MVP to scale.

The Role : Technical Co-Founder & CTO

You will work alongside the Co-Founder & CEO to bring Tuttoaposto from concept to product-market fit and beyond. You'll lead the design and development of our MVP, data infrastructure, and API-first architecture, laying the foundation for better customer acquisition, underwriting, and service than legacy insurers.

This is a hands-on, full-stack leadership role requiring fast movement, problem-solving, and a focus on building high-quality, integrated, and automated systems.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Own the technical roadmap, architecture, and execution of Tuttoaposto’s platform from day one
• Build and launch the MVP using lean, modern technologies - low/no-code tools, AI-powered IDEs, external APIs, pre-built insurance tools
• Design, integrate, and manage data pipelines across property data, IoT, geospatial risk, customer behavior, and third-party APIs
• Develop internal tools for AI-powered claims handling and customer experience automation
• Build Tetto’s API layer to enable seamless integration with distribution partners
• Collaborate on models for automated pricing and underwriting, integrating insurance carrier data and market benchmarks
• Hire and lead the early engineering team, shaping culture, processes, and standards
• Work closely with product, insurance, and growth teams to iterate rapidly and deliver customer value

What We’re Looking For

• Strong experience as a tech leader in startups or fast-growing tech companies
• Proven ability to ship MVPs quickly with pragmatic handling of technical debt and iteration
• Deep understanding of API design and integration, including building APIs for third-party embedding
• Experience with data architecture and enrichment, especially around consumer profiling, risk modeling, or real-time personalization
• Proficiency in modern full-stack development (e.g., Node.js, Python, React/Next.js, PostgreSQL, Firebase, etc.)
• Interest or experience in insurance, fintech, or regulated markets
• Bonus: Experience with AI/ML, IoT, or geospatial data
• Based in Italy or willing to relocate and travel to Milan regularly
• Fluent in Italian and English
