Business Development Team Lead – Italy (Forex)

Your Role in VT Markets

As a Business Development (BD) Team Lead, you will lead a team of Business Development Executives and manage client and partner acquisition efforts in your assigned region. You will work closely with regional and global teams to expand our reach and strengthen our brand presence.

This position is specifically for candidates who already manage a high-performing team capable of immediate impact.

This is a remote-based position in Italy.

Responsibilities include deploying and managing your BD team to support market expansion, defining KPIs, and leading performance through data-driven tracking. You will utilize your network to onboard Introducing Brokers (IBs), affiliates, and institutional partners.

Key tasks:

  1. Identify opportunities in regional markets and develop tailored go-to-market strategies considering local client behaviors and regulations.
  2. Foster a high-performance culture through mentoring, sales training, and feedback.
  3. Collaborate with Marketing, Compliance, Operations, and Product teams to align strategies and enhance partner experience.
  4. Provide timely and accurate reports to management.
  5. Expand the IB/affiliate network in key regions.
  6. Analyze market trends and provide strategic insights.

Qualifications include:

  • 4–6 years of experience in Forex/CFD industry, with 1–2 years in team leadership.
  • Proven success in sales, client acquisition, or partner development.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or related field.
  • Strong record of exceeding targets.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and Excel reporting.
  • Data-driven forecasting, tracking, and optimization skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with cultural sensitivity.
  • Ability to mobilize and lead a team immediately.
  • Fluency in English and Italian; additional regional languages are a plus.
  • Reliable internet connection and personal device for remote work.

Note: Occasional regional travel may be required.
