We are seeking a secondary school English Language & Literature Teacher to teach throughout the secondary school. The ideal candidate is an enthusiastic professional with experience in the International Baccalaureate, willing to use flexible strategies in a class with students from different language backgrounds.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching English Language & Literature and will have:

• Experience in teaching English Language & Literature at middle/high school level
• Experience of teaching the IB, particularly the Diploma Programme
• Experience of teaching Individuals and Societies
• The ability to engage students at all levels
• The willingness to collaborate with the middle school/high school department in curriculum development
• High standards, a constructivist approach to learning, and a commitment to international understanding
• Initiative, flexibility, creativity, and organisational skills, with a commitment to co-curricular initiatives

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

• A Bachelor's degree or above
• Qualified Teacher Status
• English as their Mother Tongue
• An English Literature background with relevant teaching experience
• An EU passport or the right to work in Italy
• ICT literacy skills
• The ability to teach other subjects (e.g., I&S, TOK)
