Istituto Marangoni is seeking a highly qualified senior freelance lecturer to teach in the field of advanced D igital F ashion D esign, with a specialization in Clo3D, skills in 3D modeling and animation ( Blender), and a strong inclination for creative experimentation with new digital tools.

The ideal candidate is a high- profile digital fashion designer capable of blending technical expertise, project vision, and innovative thinking— able to inspire students and guide them in the creation of original and cutting- edge design solutions.

Key purpose of the role

• Teach advanced and professional use of Clo3D for fashion garment design and simulation.

• Introduce students to the integration of Clo3D with other 3D tools such as Blender, Marvelous Designer, Substance, and animation tools, including outputs for immersive environments or the metaverse.

• Develop lessons focused on creative ideation, design problem- solving, and digital prototyping.

• Guide students in the creation of dynamic digital content: videos, animated renders, walkthroughs, and interactive presentations.

• Foster a critical and experimental approach to technology in design through interdisciplinary and future- forward projects.

• Provide timely and professional feedback, enhancing individual potential and supporting students’ technical and aesthetic development.

Professional and Education Background

• At least 2 years of experience in higher education or advanced training.

• Minimum English level B2 ( classes will be taught in English).

• Full proficiency in Clo3D, with a portfolio showcasing professional or experimental projects made with this tool.

• Experience using Blender for 3D modeling, rendering, and animation.

• Familiarity with other digital tools ( Substance Painter, Unreal Engine, Marvelous Designer, etc.) is considered a plus.

• Innovative mindset, visionary approach, and ability to lead experimental and interdisciplinary projects.

• Positive attitude, excellent communication skills, and a collaborative spirit.
