Descrizione del lavoro

St. Mark School (Venice) is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic candidate for a teacher’s assistant / aide and after school care coordinator to join our team for the 2025-2026 school year.

The role would begin as a teacher’s aide serving our kindergarten from mid-day until dismissal. The candidate would then assume care of our after care program with students from TK to middle school until 5 : 30pm Monday-Friday. Total hours would be 25 hours weekly 12 : 30-5 : 30pm.

Start date will be August, 2025

Requirements

Requirements : the ideal candidates will be committed to creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment, fostering spiritual, social and emotional growth, and teaching the whole child. The candidate should demonstrate a willingness to collaborate with colleagues and uphold the values and teachings of the Catholic faith.

Candidates should also have experience in working with this age group.

Additional requirements : Virtus Certified; Live Scan through ADLA; TB Neg. Test Result; Catechetical Certification (preferable)

Wage Range

The rate of pay offered to the selected candidate is based on internal pay policy and budget. New hires are commonly paid at the minimum of the wage range or within the lower part of the range. We consider a number of factors when making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience, training and other department needs.
