Pay Grade: 11

Reports To: Systems Director

Salary: $55,000

Job Summary

As the HR Manager, your primary focus is to support the Human Resources functions aligning with business needs and associate welfare. You will lead areas such as associate relations, HR training, compliance, policy development, engagement surveys, performance monitoring, recruitment, and data management related to bonuses.

Key Responsibilities
  • Apply HR policies consistently across the company.
  • Coach associates and management on complex issues; guide disciplinary actions; assist with investigations.
  • Oversee hourly recruitment and onboarding via MyOpportunity.
  • Maintain associate recognition programs.
  • Ensure compliance with federal and state laws.
  • Review HR activity reports regularly.
  • Support survey interpretation and feedback processes.
  • Increase HR visibility through department meetings, training, and initiatives.
  • Review pay increase requests ensuring internal equity; process related forms.
  • Prepare and present HR training topics.
  • Lead diversity initiatives including recruiting, retention, and promotion goals.
  • Assist in creating Personal Development Plans for associates.
  • Participate in the annual performance appraisal process.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in HR or related field required; Master’s preferred.
  • PHR or SPHR certification strongly preferred.
  • Minimum three years of HR generalist experience; management experience is a plus.
  • Experience in large, multi-unit organizations required.
  • Previous experience in a centralized HR environment preferred.
  • Intermediate skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint; advanced preferred.
  • Strong presentation skills required.
  • Training certification (e.g., Zenger-Miller, Stephen Covey) is a plus.
