The Role & What You Will Be Doing

Every day, we rise to the challenge to make a difference and here’s how the Talent Acquisition Partner, primarily supporting Italy, will make an impact: Reporting to the Director of Talent Acquisition Europe & Emerging Markets, this role will work closely with Viatris HR (Human Resources) and Business Unit Leaders to identify and hire high-caliber talent for positions across Italy and other regions. We are looking for an individual who is resourceful and creative, shows initiative and persistence, and has strong organizational skills. This individual should be self-motivated and capable of achieving results.

  1. Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including posting job ads, reviewing applications, phone screening, scheduling interviews, and maintaining communication with candidates throughout; use Viatris recruitment tools (Workday Recruiting, LinkedIn Recruiter, etc.).
  2. Manage the presentation, selection, offer, negotiation, closing, and administrative components involved in full lifecycle recruiting, including sourcing strategies to ensure a diverse, qualified candidate pool for management consideration.
  3. Partner with key stakeholders to understand emerging trends and opportunities that impact recruitment activities.
  4. Lead kick-off meetings with hiring managers to discuss role details, search plans, industry information, contacts, etc., to develop recruitment strategies and analyze market data.
  5. Establish strong relationships with business leaders to develop in-depth knowledge of their recruitment needs.
  6. Deliver and negotiate role offers with candidates, including salary packages, benefits, and relocation details.
  7. Build the talent brand through internal partnerships, events, and external channels.
  8. Report on recruitment metrics and KPIs, working closely with the Shared Service team.
  9. Engage in regional projects to improve processes, assess technology, and expand services.

About Your Skills & Experience

We seek candidates with the following qualifications, skills, and experiences:

  1. At least 2-3 years of Talent Acquisition/Recruitment experience, preferably in pharmaceuticals, medical devices, or biotech.
  2. Strong execution skills, ability to prioritize, plan, collaborate, and build stakeholder trust.
  3. Experience working with Talent Centers of Excellence and HR Shared Service models preferred.
  4. Authenticity, problem-solving skills, and a desire for professional growth.
  5. Highly driven, focused, multi-tasking ability, and attention to detail.
  6. Experience with Workday Recruiting and strong IT skills (Excel, PowerPoint).
  7. Excellent communication and presentation skills, both oral and written.
  8. Third-level degree in a related discipline.
  9. Knowledge of Italian employment laws and regulations preferred.
  10. Fluency in Italian and English; another European language (e.g., Romanian) is a plus.
  11. Ability to work efficiently both independently and within a team.
