A global consultancy firm is looking for a talented System Engineer specializing in Cyber Security. This role involves defining and developing cybersecurity solutions for complex embedded systems, particularly in the railway sector. Candidates should have proven experience in IACS and OT, along with strong knowledge of IEC 62443. The environment is challenging and designed for tech talents to thrive.

Competenze

• Proven experience in Cyber Security, especially in OT and embedded systems.
• Solid knowledge of security standards IEC 62443.
• Experience in secure coding practices.

Mansioni

• Define, develop, and verify cybersecurity solutions for complex embedded systems.
• Contribute to cutting-edge projects in Industrial Automation and Railway Control Systems.
• Conduct or review Threat Analysis and Risk Assessment (TARA).

Conoscenze

Experience with IACS, OT, or complex embedded systems

Knowledge of IEC 62443

Familiarity with NIS2 directive

Implementing SDL processes

Understanding of embedded/OT cybersecurity architecture principles

About this vacancy

Our System Engineering Cell is looking for a talented and motivated System Engineer with strong expertise in Cyber Security, ideally with experience in OT, embedded systems, and/or industrial automation, particularly in the railway domain. As a System Engineer - Cyber Security, you will contribute to cutting-edge projects in the Industrial Automation and Railway Control Systems sectors. You will be responsible for the definition, development, and verification of cybersecurity solutions for complex embedded and operational technology systems.

What we expect from you

• Proven experience with IACS, OT, or complex embedded systems;
• Solid knowledge of IEC 62443 (especially parts 3-3, 4-1, 4-2) and EN 50701;
• Familiarity with NIS2 directive / Italian D.Lgs. 138/2024 and its impact on critical infrastructure;
• Experience implementing SDL processes, secure coding practices, and using SAST/DAST tools (preferably in Model-Based Design environments);
• Strong understanding of embedded/OT cybersecurity architecture principles;
• Experience conducting or reviewing TARA.
