Alstom is seeking a System Validation Manager to lead testing activities for complex transport systems, including trains, metros, and signaling projects in Europe. You will define test strategies, develop reusable patterns, and ensure tool traceability across the TDS organization.

You will manage resources, coordinate subcontracted work, and drive performance through KPI monitoring and targeted training aligned with Alstom’s strategy.

• Define, develop and share reusable test patterns for the TDS organization.
• Promote continuous improvement initiatives within the team.
• Manage the traceability and configuration of tools used by the team.

Mansioni

• Assign resources for executing Projects testing activities.
• Manage workload including subcontracted parts (technical assistance or work-packages).
• Contribute to the subcontracting strategy in liaison with Sourcing.
• Evaluate performance and set objectives of the team.
• Define the training plan aligned to the team’s needs and Alstom strategy.
• Propose to the Site CV Manager the investments to ensure deliveries on projects.
• Keep KPIs updated and monitor domain performance for improvement.

System Validation Manager

• Global workload management of their team (capacity vs workload), depending the TDS organization.
• Level of application of standard process & tools (100%)

Return of Experience (REX) management between projects

Responsibilities

Accountable for:

• Applying the standard processes and related methodologies and tools in order to ensure their domain efficiency within projects development
• Defining, developing and sharing re‑usable “test patterns” depending the TDS organization.
• Promoting continuous improvement initiatives in their team depending the TDS organization.
• Managing the traceability and configuration of tools used by their team depending the TDS organization.

Responsible for:

• Assigning the resources (staff, …) for executing Projects testing activities
• Managing the workload, including the sub-contracted part (technical assistance or work-package) depending the TDS organization.
• Contributing to the sub-contracting strategy in liaise with Sourcing
• Evaluating performance and setting objectives of their team
• Defining the training plan appropriate to their team’s needs and Alstom strategy
• Proposing to the Site CV Manager the investments necessary to ensure the deliveries on projects conducted by the Site.
• Managing their scope by using regularly updated KPIs related to their domain
• Keeping be informed of the QCD of Projects their team contributes to, in order to propose improvements, if necessary
• Initiating and following up action plans to solve issues common across projects and/or improve results in projects
