As a System Engineer in Santena, you will work with major automakers on electronics development in an international, multicultural environment.

Mission:

The Automotive System Engineer is responsible for System, Software, Functional Safety, and Cybersecurity deliverables to ensure project success.

This role involves analyzing customer product requirements and allocating them to subsystems for acceptance.

You will also support system validation and issue analysis.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze and discuss customer requirements (software, hardware, mechanical, safety, cybersecurity)
• Manage system specifications
• Facilitate communication among system team and stakeholders to ensure shared understanding of goals, scope, requirements, and architecture
• Manage software supplier tracking and implementation maturity
• Support verification and validation testing teams
• Assist in project requests for quotation, considering safety and cybersecurity impacts
• Coordinate R&D contributors

Technical Skills:

• Experience with Vector tools (CanOe, CAPL, CanDb++)
• Knowledge of Vector VT System (HIL automated testing)
• Experience with network buses: CAN, CAN-FD, LIN, LVDS (preferred)
• Automotive diagnostics per ISO standards
• Knowledge of ASPICE process
• Familiarity with requirements management tools like IBM Doors or Polarium
• Understanding of Functional Safety (ISO) and Cybersecurity
• Proficiency with laboratory instruments (multimeter, oscilloscope, power supply)

Desired Experience:

• 3-5 years in similar automotive roles
