Job Responsibilities
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft System Centre Configuration Manager 2012/1610.
- Hands-on experience with SCCM 2012 OS Deployment.
- Expert level knowledge about PC computing hardware (desktop, laptop, tablets), ensuring the existing estate is up-to-date with the latest drivers, and participating in PoC of new hardware models.
- Subject-matter expert knowledge of Windows technologies.
- Experience in SCCM Infrastructure migrations.
- Advanced OS troubleshooting skills for Windows 7 & Windows 10.
- Good experience in SCCM 2012 operations such as SCCM Client Installation, Software Distribution, Software Updates, Operating System Deployment (OSD), and Reporting.
- Creation and distribution of customized Windows 7 and Windows 10 images, including standard software, using SCCM/MDT.
- Strong knowledge of Packages and Patching management via SCCM.
- Strong knowledge in Task Sequences.
- Strong knowledge in MDT (Microsoft Deployment Toolkit).
- Proficiency with PowerShell and Windows Script Host scripting technologies.
- Performs UAT and QA testing for software deployments.
Skills Required
- Experience in PowerShell scripting for automating tasks in SCCM 2012.
- Experience in Asset management using SCCM 2012.
- Good experience in SCCM migrations.
- Creation of task sequences in SCCM 2012 for OSD.
- Basic knowledge of Active Directory and managing Windows 2008 and 2012 servers.
- Patch Management with WSUS 3.0 and SCCM 2012/1511/1610.
- Windows Administration across multiple Windows OS platforms, including configuration on different roles such as Domain, WINS, DNS, DHCP, IIS, WSUS, and troubleshooting related issues.
- Advanced working knowledge of Windows Active Directory and core infrastructure components (e.g., Group Policy, DHCP, DNS).
- Awareness of audit, compliance, change control processes, and procedures.
