Description

On behalf of an international company operating in the white industry sector, we are looking for a SW Test Specialist for the headquarters in the province of Varese. The person will report directly to the delivery lead.

Responsibilities

• Understanding of functional concepts
• End to End ownership of Project Deliverables (Part of Scrum team)
• Basic experience in Developing and Debugging C# / Python scripts for Automation
• Knowledge of Software Quality attributes and Software system END to END testing
• Collaborate with project SI and Scrum Team on defect leakage and project planning
• Advocate of Agile Methodologies
• Perform requirement engineering
• Review test scenarios and test cases based on business requirements with the project team
• Design and develop test cases for NUD & specific features
• Mentor and review work of junior team members
• Defect triaging and classification by module
• Follow testing processes and ensure compliance
• Prepare and update metrics dashboards at phase or project completion
• Understanding of Software Unit Testing
• Plan and coordinate Test execution based on project priorities
• Create test plans aligned with software releases

Application of Technical tools

• Expertise in CLM, Jira
• Configure ATE (NI, ETAS)
• Use of Burndown charts, story and task closing

Technical Mentoring and Development

• Develop System domain expertise
• Train on test design techniques - ISTQB
• Obtain ISTQB Agile Certification

Knowledge Management

• Proficient in at least one Test Automation tool
• Certified in Test Automation Development tools (e.g., ETAS, NI, Dspace, ISTQB)
• Strong skills in C# scripting
• Trained in Agile methodologies
• Understanding or exposure to IoT, WiFi, BLE (Bluetooth Low Energy)
• Proficient in Product lifecycle processes
• Apply physics and programming skills to solve new problems
• Technical understanding of system/simulation/load case attributes for various product categories
• Application of basic OPEX/Lean tools and techniques, critical thinking

Required Skills

• B.E. in Electronics, E&T, Computer Engineering, Mechatronics, or related fields
• Proficiency in C and Python
• Ability to interpret datasheets, reference documents, and debug hardware issues independently
• Fluent in English
• At least 2 years of experience in software engineering practices across the SDLC
• Knowledge of Test Driven Development (TDD)
