RINA cerca un Sustainability Engineer per supportare progetti nel settore della transizione energetica e finanza verde. Il candidato ideale avrà un Master in Ingegneria o Economia, con esperienza in audit energetici e modellazione economica. Lavorerà a stretto contatto con clienti e consulenti per garantire la qualità dei progetti e scoprire nuove opportunità commerciali.

Competenze

• Esperienza in audit energetici e bilanci energetici.
• Conoscenza dei contratti di fornitura di energia e tecnologie applicabili.
• Comprensione delle tecnologie verdi e stima delle emissioni GHG.

Mansioni

• Assistere il Project Manager nella gestione dei progetti per istituzioni finanziarie internazionali.
• Sviluppare nuove opportunità di progetto, preparare proposte tecniche e stimare costi.

RINA is currently recruiting for a Sustainability Engineer to join its office in Genova or Milano, Italy within the Sustainability and Business Innovation Division.

Mission

The Resource Efficiency and Management Unit of RINA is seeking a highly motivated candidate to support the team in managing and developing projects and proposals for International Financing Institutions (EBRD, EIB, WB, etc.).

The successful candidate will have a passion for the energy transition and green economy sectors, strong project management skills, good communication skills, and an excellent teamwork attitude.

Key Accountabilities

• Assist the Project Manager in running projects for International Financing Institutions in the fields of energy transition, SME competitiveness, gender parity, and green finance.
• Engage actively with clients to ensure project delivery and identify new commercial opportunities.
• Support the elaboration and revision of technical reports related to Green Financing and SME competitiveness.
• Coordinate with local and international consultants to maintain project quality standards.
• Develop new project opportunities, prepare technical proposals, and estimate costs effectively.
• Assist in the overall management of projects, ensuring client requirements are met.
• Stay informed about regulations and best practices related to product quality, safety, environment, and health and safety of SMEs.

Qualifications

• Experience in executing energy audits and energy balances.
• Proficiency in using Excel models to estimate energy consumption in industrial and civil systems.
• Knowledge of energy supply contracts and applicable technologies.
• Understanding of green technologies and experience in estimating GHG emissions.
• Ability to develop basic economic-financial models and KPIs related to energy and resource efficiency.

Nice to have:

• Knowledge of regulations and certifications related to GHGs and energy efficiency.
• Experience in water resource efficiency and performing technical due diligence on green investments.

Education

Master’s Degree in Engineering (General) or Economics.
