Une entreprise multinationale recherche un Consultant en Durabilité pour contribuer à des projets variés dans plusieurs localités en Italie. Le candidat idéal présentera une expertise technique sur des sujets tels que les marchés de carbone et la gestion des risques climatiques, tout en travaillant en étroite collaboration avec divers clients pour soutenir des initiatives durables. Les personnes passionnées par l'impact environnemental et social, avec une bonne maîtrise de l'anglais et de l'italien, sont encouragées à postuler.

Competenze

  • Master en ingénierie, économie ou domaine similaire.
  • Expérience de 1-2 ans dans les activités liées à l'ESG et à la durabilité.
  • Compétences en communication en anglais et en italien (niveau C1).

Mansioni

  • Diriger des projets liés à la durabilité et à la gestion des risques climatiques.
  • Fournir une expertise technique sur des sujets tels que la comptabilité des GES et les marchés carbone.

RINA is currently recruiting for a Sustainability Consultant to join its office in Bologna, Lecce, Milan, Rome, Genoa or Naples, Italy within theSustainability and Business InnovationDivision.

Mission

The candidate will join the Technical Discipline “ESG, Sustainability & Climate Risk” at RINA Consulting, delivering technical services on a global scale. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with clients across industry, research and development, and the financial sector—supporting efforts to mitigate climate change risks and implement effective adaptation strategies.

This role will involve providing technical expertise across a wide range of sustainability-related areas, including Climate Change, Carbon Markets, Energy Efficiency and Management, Greenhouse Gas (GHG) Accounting, Product Sustainability Metrics, Sustainable Finance, ESG, and Sustainability Management.

Key Accountabilities

  • Lead projects across a range of sustainability and climate-related domains, including :

Climate Change Risk & Vulnerability Assessments

  • Climate Adaptation Planning
  • Carbon Markets
  • GHG Accounting & Reporting
  • Energy Efficiency Audits and ISO 50001 Implementation
  • Decarbonisation Studies and GHG Target Setting
  • Carbon Footprint of Products and Life Cycle Assessment (LCA)
  • ESG Due Diligence and Double Materiality Assessments
  • Do No Significant Harm (DNSH) Analysis and EU Taxonomy Alignment
  • Sustainability Reporting (GRI, ESRS) and Sustainability Policy Development
  • Lead and implement Research & Development activities for ESG and climate risk-related projects funded by the EU under the Horizon Europe 2021–2027 programme.
  • Contribute to the preparation of high-quality technical and financial proposals for ESG, Sustainability & Climate Risk related topics.
  • Manage multiple priorities and complex projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality outcomes.
  • Collaborate with team members to share knowledge and support the achievement of the Discipline team objectives.
  • Stay current with industry trends, regulatory developments, and best practices in sustainability, with deep expertise in climate change, ESG principles, and sustainability reporting frameworks.

Education

Master’s Degree in Engineering General or Economics

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Engineering, Economics, Law, or a related discipline.
  • Postgraduate studies focused on sustainability or the climate-energy transition are considered a strong asset.
  • At least 1-2 years of experience in one or more ESG, sustainability, and climate risk-related activities.
  • Familiarity with relevant frameworks and regulations such as GRI, ESRS, EU Taxonomy, SBTi.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Italian (C1 level); proficiency in additional languages (e.g., French, Spanish) is a plus.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Demonstrated passion for driving environmental and social impact through business practices.
  • Self-motivated and eager to learn, with a proactive attitude and the ability to stay current with evolving developments in the field. #LI-AU5
