What you bring:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of eight years' experience in boundary and construction surveying
• Five or more years of survey experience
• Familiarity with utility locating
• Ability to collaborate with other disciplines within RWA
• Extensive knowledge of professional surveying practices, procedures, and applicable laws
• Proficiency with Leica total stations, Leica and Trimble GPS equipment, electronic levels, and other measuring instruments
• Proficiency with electronic data collection systems and software for data processing and complex survey computations
• Working knowledge of Leica Total Station equipment

What you'll do:

• Manage survey projects and perform boundary, topography, ALTA, right-of-way, and construction surveys independently for public and private clients
• Operate and maintain survey equipment, take field notes, collect data, perform calculations, and coordinate with staff and clients
• Collaborate with the geomatics services manager and project managers to meet departmental goals
• Ensure quality control and quality assurance of geomatics deliverables
• Maintain strong client relations
• Perform additional duties as required
