    • Position Summary
    • We are searching for the best talent for

    • Surgery, Sales Director Center-North of Italy
    • who will be responsible for leading and delivering P&L accountabilities across Surgery business units in Center North of Italy.
    • The Sales Director ensures effective implementation and execution of policies to create a long-term growth trajectory by co-shaping the MedTech industry environment and access-for-innovation agenda. The Sales Director leads a team of 60+ FTEs in the commercial organization, along with 10 agents and 2 distributors, driving People Development, fostering Inclusion, and building capabilities to succeed in the future MedTech environment.

    • Role’s duties
      • Lead the design and implementation of the local Surgery strategy in collaboration with Surgery LT in the Center North of Italy. Execute in the marketplace by ensuring successful product launches, supported by the right resource allocations of skills, capabilities, and talent, to deliver against targets to optimize growth and win marketplace advantage.
      • Shape the external environment by developing deep customer and competitor insights & relationships with clinical and non-clinical stakeholders. Leverage market insights to create new commercial models and innovative solutions that optimize stakeholder value and drive growth.
      • Oversee the multi-layer procurement model with direct responsibilities for national and regional tenders, and oversee local/hospital tenders. Also responsible for contracting with the largest Italian private strategic accounts.
      • Develop a robust pipeline of diverse leaders with skills to succeed in a complex and dynamic marketplace. Champion initiatives to promote an inclusive workplace environment and a highly engaged workforce.
      • Active membership of the Surgery LT to create a high-performing, agile, customer-focused, outcome-oriented organization.
      • Ensure healthcare compliance and integrity principles are championed and actively practiced at every level of the organization.
    • Qualifications and requirements
      • BBA in Economics, Finance, Medical, or Scientific Fields.
      • Minimum of 10 years of leadership experience with a proven track record of success in the healthcare industry.
      • Experienced sales and marketing leader with demonstrated skill in delivering on all aspects of P&L (sales, operating expenses, net income). Strong business and financial acumen and strategic mindset. Proven success in leading large organizations through transformation while achieving results in challenging environments.
      • Experience in end-to-end leadership across multiple functions to drive growth.
      • Excellent relationship-building skills.
      • Proactive self-starter with enthusiasm for details and results orientation.
      • Speed and proactivity in addressing issues and opportunities.
      • Well-structured, focused, with clear priorities.
      • Fluent in Italian and English, with excellent communication skills.
      • Knowledge of socio-economic environment and market dynamics; ability to build mutually beneficial networks and partnerships with external leaders and agencies.
      • Experience working with government and external agencies to influence healthcare policy and develop value solutions.
      • Unquestioned ethics, integrity, and credo-based leadership. Proven ability to establish a culture of healthcare compliance.
      • Strong organizational leadership, inspiring and mobilizing large teams through change and transformation.
      • Talent development mindset with a success record in coaching and mentoring diverse leaders.
