Position Summary

We are searching for the best talent for Surgery, Sales Director Center-North of Italy who will be responsible for leading and delivering P&L accountabilities across Surgery business units in Center North of Italy.

The Sales Director ensures effective implementation and execution of policies to create a long-term growth trajectory by co-shaping the MedTech industry environment and access-for-innovation agenda. The Sales Director leads a team of 60+ FTEs, including commercial organization, 10 agents, and 2 distributors, driving People Development, fostering Inclusion, and building new capabilities to succeed in the future MedTech environment.

Role’s Duties

  • Lead the design and implementation of the local Surgery strategy in collaboration with Surgery LT in the center North of Italy. Execute in the marketplace by ensuring successful product launches, supported by the right resource allocations of skills, capabilities, and talent, to deliver against targets to optimize growth and win marketplace advantage.
  • Shape the external environment by developing deep customer and competitor insights & relationships with clinical and non-clinical stakeholders. Leverage market insights to create new commercial models and innovative solutions that optimize stakeholder value and drive growth.
  • Oversee the multi-layer procurement model with direct responsibilities for national and regional tenders and oversight of local / hospital ones. Also, direct responsibility for contracting with the largest Italian private strategic accounts.

Further responsibilities include developing a diverse leadership pipeline, championing an inclusive workplace, actively participating in the Surgery Leadership Team, ensuring healthcare compliance, and fostering a high-performing, agile, customer-focused organization.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • BBA in Economics, Finance, Medical, or Scientific Fields
  • Minimum of 10 years of leadership experience with proven success in the healthcare industry
  • Experienced sales and marketing leader with demonstrated ability to deliver on all aspects of P&L
  • Strong business and financial acumen, strategic mindset, and experience leading large organizations in complex environments
  • Excellent relationship-building skills
  • Self-starter with strong initiative and result orientation
  • Fluent in Italian and English with excellent communication skills
  • Knowledge of healthcare market dynamics and experience working with government and external agencies
  • Unquestioned ethics, integrity, and leadership aligned with Credo principles
  • Strong organizational leadership and talent development skills
  • Ability to influence in a global, matrixed environment
