ABOUT THE ROLE:

Based in Rome, Italy, this role places you at the center of financial risk operations within an international and multicultural FinTech environment. You'll be working on innovative, high-impact projects that aim to transform financial services for individuals, businesses, and organizations worldwide.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

• Collaborate with a skilled team of risk and credit analysts to assess, monitor, and mitigate financial and operational risks.
• Conduct in-depth analysis of credit data and financial statements to evaluate risk exposure.
• Support the development and implementation of internal risk management frameworks, policies, and procedures.
• Monitor compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements, ensuring alignment with best practices.
• Liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure accurate risk profiling and proactive issue resolution.
• Identify and escalate emerging risk trends, assisting in the creation of mitigation strategies.
• Utilize risk modeling tools and data-driven insights to support business decision-making.
• Maintain accurate records of risk assessments and provide detailed reports and recommendations.

WHAT WE EXPECT:

• Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience in risk management or finance or accounting or credit analysis. Experience in international financial institutions is a major advantage.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and translate it into actionable insights.
• Proficiency in English and Italian (B2 level or higher).
• A proactive, detail-oriented approach with strong organizational skills.
• High emotional intelligence, critical thinking, and the ability to handle confidential information.
• Comfort working in fast-paced, results-driven environments with tight deadlines.
