Minerva Research Labs develops and distributes premium nutraceutical products, including our pioneering collagen‑based food supplements, through a global supply network.

The Supply Planning & Materials Manager is responsible for ensuring the timely and cost‑efficient availability of finished goods, raw materials, and packaging to meet international demand. This hands‑on role oversees the full supply planning cycle: from sales forecast consolidation and demand planning to production scheduling, materials procurement, and international stock transfers. By working closely with third‑party manufacturing partners and logistics providers, the role ensures the seamless flow of products into Minerva's global distribution network and multi-channel inventory availability.

Key Responsibilities

Demand & Supply Planning

  • Collect, consolidate, and validate sales forecasts to produce a robust demand plan
  • Build a rolling supply plan aligned with commercial forecasts and market requirements
  • Calculate net stock requirements for multiple international distribution warehouses to maintain optimal inventory levels

Materials Requirements Planning (MRP)

  • Perform net requirements planning for raw and packaging materials, considering plant inventory and open purchase orders
  • Issue production orders to third‑party manufacturers to meet forecasted demand and safety stock targets
  • Raise purchase orders for raw materials, packaging, and finished goods sourced from partner manufacturers

Logistics & Stock Transfers

  • Plan and coordinate stock transfers from manufacturing sites to international distribution warehouses
  • Manage RFQs for ocean freight and liaise with freight forwarders to secure competitive rates and reliable schedules
  • Ensure smooth international shipments, including preparation and review of all required documentation (commercial invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, and import/export papers)

Master Data Management

  • Maintain accurate Bills of Materials (BOM) and Bills of Operations (BOO) to support precise production and procurement planning
  • Oversee material and product master data in the ERP system to enable effective forecasting, reporting, and regulatory compliance

Cross‑Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with Sales, Manufacturing, Procurement, and Logistics teams to align supply plans with business objectives
  • Monitor supplier and logistics performance, proactively mitigating risks to supply continuity
  • Support initiatives to improve lead times, inventory efficiency, and overall cost optimisation

KPI

  • Forecast accuracy and adherence to supply plan
  • On‑time availability of finished goods, raw and packaging materials
  • Inventory level optimisation across international warehouses
  • Supplier and logistics performance (lead times, service levels, cost efficiency)
  • Accuracy of ERP master data (BOM, BOO, material and product records)

Requirements

  • Proactive, detail‑oriented, and results‑driven in a fast‑paced international environment
  • Able to manage multiple priorities while ensuring accuracy and compliance
  • Strong communicator and effective team player, capable of cross‑functional collaboration

Qualifications And Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Business, or a related field
  • Proven experience in supply planning, materials management, or production planning, ideally in nutraceuticals, FMCG, or food supplements
  • Solid understanding of MRP, demand planning, and international inventory management
  • Hands‑on experience with ERP systems (SAP strongly preferred)
  • Excellent analytical and organisational skills, with the ability to convert data into actionable plans
  • Familiarity with international freight and shipping documentation is a strong advantage
  • Fluency in English as an operational language is mandatory, as the role requires both oral and written communication with business partners in English
