Job summary

Perfetti Van Melle in Lombardy, Italy, is hiring a Supply Planner to optimize production and capacity planning at the category level for mid- to long-term horizons. You will be the point of contact for plants and markets, managing exceptions and supporting the S&OP process.

Key tasks include MPS with SAP and O9, RCCP, and monitoring CFR, inventory and waste. You will participate in weekly Demand Fulfilment and end-to-end allocation decisions, liaising with manufacturing teams to translate plans

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics or related field.
• 3 years in supply planning; SAP knowledge preferred.
• Proficient in English.
• Advanced Excel and data analysis; Power BI a plus.
• High accuracy with data.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management.
• Knowledge of MPS/RCCP, DRP, Inventory and S&OP/IBP principles.

Responsibilities

• Manage Master Production Schedule (MPS) for finished goods using SAP and O9.
• Create and maintain the Rough-Cut Capacity Plan (RCCP) and identify bottlenecks.
• Coordinate with markets via weekly S&OE Demand Fulfilment meetings.
• Support Supply Review Meetings (S&OP) decisions and optimize allocation.
• Implement S&OP decisions with local manufacturing teams.
• Track CFR, inventory and waste metrics.

As our new Supply Planner, you’ll be responsible for optimizing production and capacity planning at the category level for the mid- and long-term horizon. You’ll act as the point of contact for plant and markets, managing exceptions related to plant restrictions, driving solutions and supporting the preparation of the Regional Supply & Operations Planning meeting (S&OP).

Your core responsibilities at a glance:

• Perform and manage Master Production Schedule (MPS) for finished goods within assigned categories using SAP and O9 to ensure optimal output aligned with business goals
• Create and maintain the Rough-Cut Capacity Plan (RCCP), identifying bottlenecks and risks while adjusting production plans
• Maintain close relation with markets by weekly S&OE Demand Fulfilment meetings ensuring communication flow and feedback
• Support effective Supply Review Meetings (S&OP) decisions, optimizing end-to-end allocation and assessing capacity or investment needs
• Implement S&OP decisions and ensure effective communication with local manufacturing teams for execution
• Track and report key performance metrics including CFR, inventory and waste

The ideal recipe for our new Supply Planner:

• Bachelor’s degree (preferably in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management or related field)
• 3 years of experience in supply planning role, preferably with SAP knowledge
• Proficiency in English
• Very good Excel and data analysis skills, Basic Power BI knowledge as a plus
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail when working with data
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
• MPS & RCCP, DRP & Inventory Planning, Material Planning, and S&OP/IBP principles

The position offers a gross annual salary starting from 34 800 Euro. Additional compensation and company benefits may also apply and will be discussed and defined during the selection process and on an individual basis.
