RINA is currently recruiting for a SUPPLY CHAIN TECHNICAL MANAGER to join its office in Colleferro within the Mechanical and Materials Engineering Division.
Mission

RINA Consulting S.p.A. is seeking a Supply Chain Technical Manager to play a pivotal role in the procurement process of Space & Defense projects in Colleferro. As a valued team member, you will have the opportunity to oversee and manage various projects in an innovative and dynamic work environment, contributing to a smart management of supply processes of high-technology customized products for aerospace applications.

Key Accountabilities

As the Supply Chain Technical Manager, you will join the Supply Chain Structures and Propulsion team, managing procurement for structures and propulsion components across space and military programs. Your role involves functional coordination with engineering and supplier quality management to ensure timely, cost-effective, and high-quality supply of products/services. Your key responsibilities will include:

  1. Supporting the procurement unit in purchasing activities and scouting the best outsourcing opportunities.
  2. Assisting in drafting the Statement of Work (SOW) for contractual activities.
  3. Supervising development plans and production processes of systems under your responsibility.
  4. Monitoring supplier capacities, capabilities, production planning, and impact assessments.
  5. Collaborating with low-performing suppliers on recovery plans and expediting activities.
  6. Overseeing delivery programs, quality aspects, and contractual changes effectively.
Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Aerospace Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.

Qualifications
  • Excellent knowledge of English and preferably French.
  • Knowledge of Project / Program Management principles.
  • Previous experience in roles of responsibility / coordination in other corporate functions is preferable.
  • Knowledge of ESA, MIL, or NASA standards.
  • Knowledge of cost planning and order management systems.
  • Multidisciplinary technical skills in avionics and mechanical disciplines.
