Job Opportunity: Supply Chain Manager in Biomedical Sector

Company Context

A company focused on engineering new products and lines of business related to medical device manufacturing within a multinational group operating in the biomedical field.

Position Offer

The selected candidate will report directly to the Global Director of the department and will manage the Site's Supply Chain planning, including procurement of materials, production scheduling, inventory control, and warehouse management. Key responsibilities include:

1. Creating integrated processes among internal functions (e.g., Operations, Purchasing, Logistics) and external suppliers;
2. Developing, implementing, and maintaining policies, procedures, and control systems for materials to reduce costs, simplify procedures, and implement solutions;
3. Supervising raw material procurement to ensure production continuity and minimum safety stock levels;
4. Overseeing the production schedule for components, semi-finished, and finished products to meet forecasts and service targets;
5. Collaborating with Global teams (Supply Chain Demand, Supply Planning, Logistics Planners) to define and validate annual production volumes;
6. Supporting continuous improvement initiatives and identifying areas for enhancement;
7. Creating periodic reports on key KPIs, projects, and activities to update internal and external functions;
8. Managing and supervising daily team activities and fostering professional growth.

Skills and Experience

Ideal candidates will possess:

1. A degree in Industrial Engineering, Economics, or equivalent;
2. Previous experience in planning or materials planning;
3. Excellent command of English (C1 level);
4. Strong knowledge of Supply Chain processes;
5. Advanced IT system skills, including Excel;
6. Experience with MRP systems;
7. Strong leadership, priority management, and listening skills;
8. Preferred: knowledge of Lean and Six Sigma tools, APICS and PMI certifications.
