Ferrari S.p.A. in Maranello, Italy, offers a dedicated internship in our Supplier Development Packaging team.

You will work on developing and approving packaging solutions for vehicle components, coordinating with internal functions and suppliers to ensure technical requirements, timelines and sustainability goals are met. You will collaborate across Purchasing, Logistics and Quality, support alignment meetings, monitor progress across development phases and prepare progress reports.

Competenze

• For this internship, a recent Master graduate or current Master student is preferred.
• Candidate should be in Business, Economics or Management Engineering and eligible for internship.
• First work experience in automotive or luxury sectors is a plus.
• Fluent English and strong communication skills are required.

We are looking for a dedicated intern in our Supplier Development Packaging team, with specific activities in managing and coordinating activities related to the development and approval of packaging solutions for vehicle components, working with internal functions and suppliers to ensure compliance with technical requirements, development timelines and sustainability objectives.

You will cooperate in different activities, including:

• Support coordination between Purchasing, Logistics, Quality and Vehicle Development Teams to define and update packaging sheets for strategic and highly critical components.
• Collaborate with suppliers and the company departments involved in the approval process to ensure the proper progress of packaging design, validation and approval activities.
• Support the organisation and management of alignment meetings aimed at resolving any technical, quality or timing issues related to packaging, both for new vehicle projects and components already in production.
• Monitor the progress of packaging sheets throughout the different product development phases, verifying compliance with project milestones and the requirements defined by the relevant departments.
• Prepare reports and status indicators to support activity monitoring.
• Take part in continuous improvement initiatives aimed at optimising packaging management processes, reducing logistics costs and increasing the sustainability of the packaging used.

Required profile

For this fundamental role in managing the Supplier Development Packaging activities, we are ideally looking for a recent Master graduate or current Master student (eligible for internship) or in your final year in Business/Economics or Management Engineering.

You will not only have a passion for automotive and innovative solutions, but also already gained first work-experience through internships or projects (in automotive or luxury sectors) that allow you to understand business complexities and help you to develop your personal and communicative skills.

You need to demonstrate strong communication skills (such as the ability to listen as well as in-depth reasoning). You will be expected to work independently as well as integrate as part of a team. We require attention to the detail and awareness of the responsibility that comes with your role. You are motivated to adapt to and learn from the company culture. It goes without saying that you relish a challenge.

The effective completion of your daily tasks requires you to be a proficient user of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook). Knowledge of Power BI is considered a plus.
Fluent English is required.
