Workplace: Italy, Corleto Perticara (PZ)
Duration of Contract: 12 months fixed-term, with possibility of extension and/or transformation.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure monitoring of atmospheric emission parameters via the automatic emission control system (SME);
- Immediately inform relevant personnel in case of anomalies or limit exceedances;
- Collect data daily and archive reports;
- Prepare daily summary reports;
- Interface with production to gather relevant information during anomalies (causes, corrective actions, condition restoration, etc.);
- Verify measures for emission containment.
The selected candidate will join a team of four rotating shifts to:
- Monitor greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions and minimize site flaring, identifying real-time variables contributing to flare visibility;
- Create weekly reports on flared gas quantities and SO2 emissions;
- Identify the source units of gaseous flow in the flare and investigate correlations with ongoing maintenance activities;
- Summarize daily exceedances of external air quality limits and odors near the Oil Center;
- Create views on PI Vision for entire plant units, including data collected and transmitted by installed sensors, with logical calculations for proper display;
- Facilitate information exchange between site, production, and Environment/Energy departments.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Computer skills: Word, Excel;
- Knowledge of environmental regulations: Dlgs 152/2006 - Part V;
- Possible REACH/C.L.P. training;
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Environmental or Industrial Engineering;
- Experience in similar activities: 0-1 years;
- Intermediate to advanced English language skills.
