Key Responsibilities

As a Supervisor, PDS Project Management you will be responsible for:

1. Leading and managing project teams to successfully implement and monitor project plans.
2. Ensuring that projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget, adhering strictly to project management methodologies.
3. Coordinating with cross-functional teams to determine project requirements and deliverables.
4. Developing detailed project plans, including schedules, risk management plans, and prioritisation.
5. Delivering projects on time and within budget, addressing issues/risks and finding resolutions.
6. Monitoring project progress and performance, identifying and resolving any issues that arise.
7. Communicating project status, updates, and any changes to collaborators, maintaining outstanding transparency.
8. Ensuring that project documentation is maintained and that all deliverables are of world-class quality.
9. Conducting project post-mortem and crafting a recommendation report to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements.
10. Managing PM direct reports, providing leadership and supporting job development.
11. Building up risk management and back-up plans intra and inter projects.
12. Designing/delivering plans for the best customer service according to CEM program expectations and targets. Objectives met/exceeded through the implementation of project plans.
13. Reviewing changes of scopes/project expansions prepared by PMs based on Patheon Italy cost structure and guidelines from technical teams, to be provided to Patheon UK.
14. Maintaining an overview of the projects portfolio and supporting the Manager to build up a capacity plan of Project Management team.
15. Supporting the Manager by monitoring the financial forecast both short and long term through SOR.
16. Developing staff and talents by setting objectives, appraising performance, and helping PMs to identify professional development plans to cover the gaps.
17. Supporting/leading department or site project initiatives as required, including promotion of continuous improvement in business, operational and GMP processes within PSG program.
18. Supporting the relationship between PDS and DPS business units to facilitate the efficient scheduling of PDS project activities.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

1. Proven experience in project management, ideally within a related industry.
2. A bachelor's degree in business administration, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
3. Strong leadership and team management skills.
4. Outstanding problem-solving abilities and a diligent approach.
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
6. Proficiency in project management software and tools.
7. The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ambitious environment.
8. Proficiency in both Italian and English.
