Job Description: Supervisor, Engineering at Commscope in Goa

Commscope is seeking a Supervisor, Engineering to join its team in Goa to support our growing business.

How you will help us connect the world:

• Responsible for improving the manufacturing process, working with Operations and Quality teams to understand and resolve issues.
• Collaborate with the Global Engineering team to update documentation.
• Design tools and fixtures as required.
• Define and modify processes online.
• Troubleshoot issues and attend to line escalations promptly.
• Manage the tool crib.
• Lead a team of Process Technicians and oversee shift rotations.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical Engineering, or related field, with 8-10 years of experience preferred.
• Basic knowledge of reading and understanding manufacturing drawings.
• Knowledge of fiber cable and fiber termination.
• Familiarity with 7QC tools, FMEA, and control plans.
• Experience in team management.

Preferred Skills:

• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification.
• Basic skills in AutoCAD or SolidWorks.
• Strong interpersonal, physical, and mental skills.
• Effective communication and negotiation abilities with personnel at various levels.
