JD Sports Fashion, founded in 1981 with a single store in northwest England, is now one of the leading Multi-Channel retailers of sports fashion and outdoor products in the UK and Europe. The group has over 2,400 stores, catering to various retail segments, and prides itself on offering the latest products from top brands.

Reporting directly to the Store Manager, the Supervisor, as an experienced sales associate, supports the Management Team of the store by helping to improve customer service levels and maintain company standards.

Sales/Commercial Skills:

• Handles activities related to store opening and closing: merchandise arrangement, informational briefings for the team, displaying new items on the sales wall, etc.
• Periodically monitors profitability through KPI tracking.
• Participates in sales activities and ensures exemplary customer service.
• Handles customer complaints efficiently and courteously.

Ensures the overall good presentation of the store in collaboration with the Visual Merchandising team, if present: adherence to company standards, stock rotation, product density, highlighting new products, price variations, etc.

Logistics/Loss Prevention/Cash Handling/Health and Safety:

• Holds the keys to the store and assumes full responsibility, managing merchandise and staff entry and exit.
• Actively participates in loss prevention and control, in collaboration with the profit protection manager, through zoning, delivery checks, regular and extraordinary audits/inventories.
• Performs cash register opening and closing, ensuring daily management of the cash register for monthly administrative closing.
• Supervises cash collection, manages returns and refunds.
• Contributes to maintaining a healthy and clean environment, taking care of cleaning common areas and sales/warehouse areas as needed for safety and hygiene.

Preliminary experience in structured retail stores, preferably in dynamic and multinational environments; good knowledge of English; leadership and good relational and communication skills; knowledge of Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel). Career progression, experience in a young, dynamic, and expanding international context, employee assistance programs, access to corporate benefits portal, and product discounts are also offered.
