Competenze

Job Description:

Tecnimont Services is a key player within MAIRE group’s Integrated E&C Solutions, focusing on decarbonization and energy transition initiatives.

Subcontract Administration Manager ensures subcontracting activities align with Construction Subcontracting Procedures and project-specific plans, monitoring performance in terms of schedule, quality, and cost, and coordinating recovery actions under the guidance of the Construction Manager.

Main activities and responsibilities:

  1. Prepare, approve, and issue the Project Construction Subcontracting Procedure, Subcontracting Plan, Strategy, and related lists.
  2. Verify the clarity, completeness, and consistency of subcontract documents, and notify the Project Director/Manager of delays.
  3. Manage activities related to issuing inquiries to subcontractors, including confidentiality agreements, bid instructions, and tender tracking.
  4. Conduct bid opening procedures and review quotations.
  5. Distribute received information to relevant functions for analysis and track results.
  6. Oversee economic bid evaluations, chair evaluation meetings, and maintain updated offers.
  7. Issue subcontracts with proper approvals and distribute to relevant parties.
  8. Maintain an archive of subcontract technical and commercial data.
  9. Assist in resolving claims or clarifications regarding subcontract clauses.
  10. Support construction proposals, including subcontractor selection and negotiations.
  11. Inform management of critical issues and suggest corrective actions.

Knowledge & Qualifications:

  • University Degree in a relevant discipline

Experience:

  • Experience in construction, modernization of industrial sector, EPC projects, Oil & Gas
  • Minimum 3 years in contract administration or quantity surveying
  • Experience on the contractor side

Skills and Abilities:

  • Proficiency in MS Excel for accounting and reporting
  • Excellent communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills
  • Self-motivated with a focus on timely performance and problem-solving
