Job summary

Littelfuse is seeking a Strategic Project Buyer to procure materials, parts, and services while ensuring competitive pricing, optimal delivery terms, and strong supplier relationships across the business. The role supports operational continuity and cost efficiency in a multinational environment.

The candidate should have 3-4 years in a similar role, exposure to multinational companies, and SAP knowledge. Italian fluency and English for daily communication are required.

Qualifications

• 3-4 years of experience in a similar role.
• Experience in large multinational companies; automotive industry experience is a strong plus.
• Background in production companies; exposure to R&D activities
• Project Management experience is a plus.
• SAP knowledge is advantageous.
• Fluency in Italian is mandatory; good command of English for daily communication.

Responsibilities

• Purchase materials, parts, supplies, and services in accordance with established purchasing policies and procedures.
• Analyse supplier quotations and lead negotiations to achieve competitive pricing, delivery, and commercial terms.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities through supplier reviews and pricing analysis.
• Manage pricing revisions, order cancellations, delivery date changes, and resolve invoice discrepancies.
• Coordinate with suppliers to obtain quotations and confirm delivery schedules.
• Execute purchasing activities accurately and efficiently to support business requirements.
