Sonoco Canada in Parma, Italy, is seeking a Production Planner to optimize short-term scheduling and capacity planning across plants. You will coordinate with manufacturing, procurement, and sales to ensure timely production and efficient use of materials.

Responsibilities include developing detailed schedules, managing work orders, aligning plans with demand and material availability, monitoring adherence, and driving continuous improvement in planning accuracy and responsiveness.

Competenze

• University degree in Industrial Engineering or equivalent.
• 0-3 years of experience in supply chain, preferably manufacturing.
• Advanced MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Knowledge of ERP logics; Oracle ERP a plus.
• Fluent Italian and English; further European languages a plus.

• Develop and maintain short-term production schedules for efficient use of resources.
• Manage and schedule work orders; monitor and close them as needed.
• Align daily/weekly plans with demand, capacity, and material availability.
• Monitor schedule adherence and adjust plans for disruptions.
