Ahlstrom in Torino, Italy, seeks a Production Planning Specialist to plan, coordinate and manage production schedules, ensuring efficient capacity use and on-time delivery. The role involves inventory management, production monitoring and strong cross-functional collaboration.

You will work with Customer Service, Purchasing, Logistics and other teams to optimize planning, monitor orders, and drive continuous improvements in planning accuracy and overall supply chain performance.

Competenze

• 1 to 3 years of experience in production planning, materials management, supply chain or industrial manufacturing environment.
• High School Diploma or University Degree, preferably in Economics, Business Administration, Engineering or a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to make sound decisions based on available data and priorities.
• Excellent collaboration and interpersonal skills across multiple departments.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Customer-oriented approach and flexibility in handling a wide range of operational activities.
• Effective time management and prioritization skills.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
• Good knowledge of English and French, both written and spoken.

Mansioni

• Prepare, maintain and optimize the master production schedule considering capacity constraints, demand forecasts, inventory levels and trends.
• Review and validate sales orders against forecasted demand and the approved production plan.
• Coordinate with Customer Service to provide accurate production status and communicate delays.
• Develop and manage production schedules to ensure on-time delivery while maximizing efficiency.
• Manage inventory levels, schedules and availability of items to meet production plans.
• Release Manufacturing Orders and monitor their progress to ensure delivery dates and quantities.
• Collaborate with Production, Purchasing, Logistics and other departments to address shortages and conflicts.
• Communicate with stakeholders about factors impacting delivery, quality or satisfaction.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance planning accuracy and supply chain performance.
