Job summary

IQVIA is seeking a Medical Director for the Hematology-Oncology Center of Excellence to provide strategic medical and scientific input across the R&D lifecycle. You will engage with potential customers, support proposals, and contribute to clinical development plans while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

The role requires MD with hematology-oncology expertise and a proven record in oncology leadership.

Qualifications

MD/Oncologist with hematology-oncology training.
Minimum 5–7 years of relevant experience.
3+ years in biopharma industry outside training period.
Practical knowledge in leading R&D processes.
Ability to lead and manage cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

Provide scientific and clinical advice to internal stakeholders developing proposals, including protocol design and development plans.
Maintain awareness of latest literature in hematology and oncology.
Prepare for and conduct client meetings, bid defense meetings, governance meetings and related engagements.
Provide coaching and preparation of project teams to align execution with medical strategy.
Collaborate with Business Development, Operations, and other medical strategy leads across Centers of Excellence.
Act as internal/external consultant throughout the R&D lifecycle and clinical trials.
Provide scientific knowledge to guide sponsors in clinical development.
