  • Role Overview
  • The Strategic Marketing Manager will oversee and support the development of the product portfolio in a competitive and dynamic market environment. You will monitor and measure growth opportunities within core markets, understand adjacent growth opportunities, and drive new product development focused on value-added solutions for customers.

  • Responsibilities
    • Market Landscape: Understand market dynamics including customer and consumer trends, competitive actions, and drive market sizing efforts to focus on addressable markets.
    • Opportunity Mapping: Use research and market data to understand customer needs, translate them into actionable pain points and opportunities, prioritize these opportunities, and collaborate with Product Managers and commercial teams on value propositions and go-to-market strategies. Analyze sales trends using dashboards and tracking reports, develop annual growth plans, and product strategies.
    • Customer Back Innovation: Execute the new product development roadmap to capitalize on key market opportunities. Lead the Customer Back Innovation stage-gate process through cross-functional teams, including strategic fit, competitive analysis, customer pain points, value proposition, and business case development. Validate value propositions using market insights and research. Attend events, exhibitions, and conferences to network and gain insights, which may occasionally require evening and weekend work.
  • Qualifications
    • Proven experience in developing and implementing commercial and marketing strategies.
    • Ability to identify opportunities, create solutions, and implement effectively.
    • Technical competence and market opportunity analysis skills.
    • Experience in sales or marketing is preferable.
    • Highly self-motivated and driven to succeed.
    • Good educational background.
    • Strong influencing and persuasive communication skills.
    • Ability to maintain positive relationships for collaborative working.
    • Keen attention to detail.
    • Effective prioritization and task execution skills.
    • Flexibility to travel, estimated at 30%.
