Chaberton Professionals , a division of Chaberton Partners dedicated to the research and selection of Middle Management profiles, is currently looking for a Strategic Marketing Director for a Real Estate Company.
Position
Our Client is seeking an experienced and forward-thinking leader to take ownership of our digital-first and data-led communications and digital marketing strategy in one of Europe’s most dynamic real estate markets. You will shape and deliver integrated, high-impact campaigns that elevate our brand, strengthen client engagement, and support commercial growth across all service lines.
This role blends strategic communications with digital marketing leadership, offering an exciting opportunity to develop national campaigns that align with our global vision while being tailored to the local market. You will work closely with the Italian leadership team, EMEA marketing colleagues, and global stakeholders to position the company as a trusted advisor and market leader in commercial real estate.

To lead and integrate content, communications, and digital growth marketing initiatives that reinforce the brand in Italy, support lead generation and accelerate business growth through powerful storytelling, marketing automation, and data-driven decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Communications & Content Leadership
- Develop and deliver compelling content and communications strategies that articulate our value, services, and market insights in ways that resonate with Italian clients, partners, and media.
- Translate complex real estate themes into clear, engaging multichannel initiatives
- Champion thought leadership that supports brand visibility and aligns with the company tone of voice and messaging framework.
Digital Marketing & Martech Development
Drive a digital-first and data-led marketing approach, using analytics and performance insights to guide campaign planning, execution and optimization.Lead the planning and execution of digital marketing activities across owned, earned, and paid channels.Manage and evolve the use of marketing technology platforms such as :Marketing automation tools that support lead nurturing and Adobe MarketoCRM integration for full-funnel visibility and reporting.Work closely with EMEA and global teams to leverage digital tools, resources, and data insights to maximise impact locally.Own the development of integrated, multi-channel marketing campaigns that generate awareness and support commercial outcomes.Maintain and manage content calendars, marketing assets, and media partnerships to ensure consistency of message and maximum reach.Monitor KPIs such as MQLs, conversion rates, CAC and channel performance, using these insights to continuously improve effectiveness.Partner with the Italian Managing Director, business line leaders and service experts to align marketing priorities with commercial goals.Structure, mentor and coordinate junior and dispersed marketing resources, building a cohesive, agile and high-performing team.Provide guidance and leadership to junior team members or agencies, ensuring best-in-class delivery and continuous development.Media Relations & Brand Reputation
Build and maintain strong relationships with national and trade media to secure quality coverage for Company’s people, services, and insights.Lead the development of PR strategies, media responses, and messaging for key business announcements, leadership changes, and crisis communications.Ensure all materials adhere to brand guidelines and reflect the company positioning as a leader in real estate services.Digital Savvy & Martech Fluency : Strong understanding of multichannel performance marketing, enterprise CMS, CRM / marketing automation, and data visualisation tools.Strategic Thinking : Ability to align communications and digital marketing with business priorities.Digital Expertise : Strong understanding of digital marketing platforms, tools, and analytics.Brand Storytelling : Exceptional writing and editorial skills with a focus on clarity, tone, and audience engagement.Stakeholder Management : Skilled at working with senior leaders and cross-functional teams.Project Leadership : Organised and agile, able to manage multiple campaigns and priorities simultaneously.Innovation & Proactivity : Constantly seeking new and effective ways to increase visibility, engagement, and lead generation.Market Understanding : Deep familiarity with the Italian business, media and marketing landscape.Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Digital Media, or a related field.8+ years of experience in a senior marketing and / or communications role, ideally within commercial real estate, B2B, professional or financial services.Proven ability to lead integrated, performance-driven campaigns across media, web, email, and social platforms.Experience managing managing advanced martech platforms including CRM, CMS, SEO, email automation, and performance analytics tools.Native-level Italian language proficiency and excellent written and spoken English.Experience working in a matrixed or international business environment is an advantage.Seniority level
