BD Italy seeks an experienced Legal Counsel based in Milan to provide strategic legal guidance across business units including tender, market access, HR and compliance. The role reports to the EMEA Chief Legal Counsel and dotted line to the Italy General Manager.

You will help ensure regulatory compliance, manage risk, draft and review contracts, supervise corporate documentation, and support data privacy agreements while coordinating with the EMEA Compliance team to implement BD Ethics programs

Formación

• Broad knowledge of general corporate law and regulatory law impacting MedTech
• Strong business orientation with the ability to advise senior management
• Able to work cross-functionally and cross-culturally and foster relationships across levels
• Good IT skills – Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Fluency in Italian and English; knowledge of Greek is an advantage

Responsabilidades

• Provide advice on legal matters to the company’s business units (Tender, Market Access, HR)
• Advise management on legal rights, obligations and privileges, contracts, corporate affairs, compliance and M&A
• Negotiate local labour issues and coordinate with HR; prepare and review legal documents
• Manage non-material and material litigation with outside counsel as needed
• Assist with Data Privacy agreements with customers
• Draft and update contract templates per new projects and regulations
• Oversee corporate documentation (Powers of Attorney, deeds, etc.)
• Ensure management needs are met through internal resources and decide when to engage outside counsel
• Review invoices from outside counsel and manage costs
