Leonardo SpA is seeking a Strategic & Growth Planning Specialist to support the division's strategic and growth agenda, ensuring coherence between priorities, investments and resource allocation.

The role involves identifying growth opportunities, developing fact-based analyses, and supporting investment decisions while contributing to inorganic growth initiatives and external funding opportunities. Hybrid work arrangements are offered.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Engineering (with focus on management disciplines).
• 2–4 years of experience in strategy, strategic planning, business development, or corporate finance in complex environments.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to structure complex topics into clear business implications.
• Good understanding of business case development, investment assessment and financial fundamentals.
• Ability to assess growth opportunities by combining strategic, market and financial perspectives.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; knowledge of Power BI or similar tools is a plus.
• Ability to operate across functions with Strategy, Finance, Business and Engineering teams.
• Strong written and spoken English communication skills (B2 or above).

Responsabilités

• Support translating the Strategic Plan into strategic initiatives and investment priorities.
• Assess alignment of investment plans with strategic priorities and identify gaps.
• Scout and assess growth opportunities across markets, products and technologies.
• Develop fact-based assessments and preliminary business cases with expected returns and investments.
• Support prioritization of growth initiatives and inorganic growth initiatives.
• Identify external funding opportunities aligned with strategic priorities.
