Job Description:

Energy Dome is a pioneering clean-tech company revolutionizing long-duration energy storage. With our patented CO₂ Battery technology, we enable the transition to renewable energy by delivering sustainable, cost-effective, and scalable storage solutions.

We are now entering a new phase of growth with the construction of our first gas holder (gasometro) at the Piacenza plant. This marks the beginning of the production phase for Energy Dome and the first step toward internalizing the manufacturing of some of our most strategic components.

We are looking for a hands-on Strategic Buyer to join our team and play a crucial role in the procurement and supply chain activities for the construction of our gas holder system at our new Piacenza facility.

The ideal candidate will have experience in purchasing few materials but in large volumes — preferably within the Industrial or Automotive sectors — and will be able to manage the entire supply chain process, including logistics, supplier coordination, and expediting activities. Strong English skills and the willingness to travel both locally and internationally are essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage procurement activities for mechanical and industrial materials with large volume requirements
• Coordinate suppliers and subcontractors, ensuring technical, qualitative, and delivery requirements are met
• Handle supply chain activities including logistics, shipping coordination, and expediting
• Negotiate commercial terms with suppliers and track supplier performance
• Interface with internal engineering, project management, and operations teams
• Support the construction and production timeline through effective supply management
• Travel occasionally both within Italy and internationally to suppliers’ sites and project locations

What We’re Looking For

• Solid experience in procurement within the metalworking, industrial, or automotive sectors
• Proven experience purchasing large volumes of few specialized materials
• Knowledge of supply chain management, logistics, and expediting processes
• Strong negotiation and communication skills
• Fluent in English (written and spoken); additional languages are a plus
• Willingness to travel locally and internationally
• Proactive attitude, flexibility, and ability to work cross-functionally

The role is based full-time in Piacenza (PC), Italy.
