Valmet in Bologna, Italy is seeking a Buyer Commercial Parts Packaging to manage end-to-end purchasing for commercial components, electrical panels, boards and wiring services. You will work closely with Engineering, R&D, Production, and Quality to secure on-time deliveries and optimize costs.

The role requires 1–2 years purchasing experience in manufacturing, knowledge of electrical assemblies, and proficiency with MS Office and SAP or ERP/MRP systems.

Competenze

• Diploma in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or degree in Electrical/Industrial Engineering.
• 1–2 years purchasing experience in a manufacturing/industrial environment.
• Strong knowledge of electrical assemblies, wiring processes and supplier management.
• Proficient with MS Office and ERP/MRP systems, preferably SAP.

Mansioni

• Manage full purchasing process for commercial components, electrical panels, boards and wiring services from RFQ to order confirmation.
• Negotiate pricing, delivery schedules and payment terms with suppliers per category strategies.
• Monitor supplier performance and follow up on deliveries to meet production deadlines.
• Collaborate with Engineering, R&D, Production and Quality to resolve technical and supply-related challenges and identify new suppliers for cost optimization.
