Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a Central Services Tech to oversee the storeroom functions. You will receive and deliver all supplies ordered for the hospital and ensure accurate processing, filling, and delivery of department stock orders.

This full-time position involves Monday–Friday schedule with 3:30 PM to midnight shifts and alternating weekends, 40 hours per week. Strong communication and basic computer skills are required to handle repair and return orders and maintain organized inventories.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED from an accredited institute.
• Previous experience with storage and distribution of supplies desired.
• Computer skills desired.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills required.
• Ability to handle potential problems and situations in a professional and courteous manner is required.

Responsibilities

• The Central Services Tech is responsible for the overall function of the storeroom.
• Receives and delivers all supplies ordered for the hospital.
• Processes, fills, and delivers all department stock orders.
• Responsible for sending out repair and return orders.
