GENERAL ROLE: As a core member of the retail leadership team, the Store Manager promotes Hermès culture through achieving store excellence, fostering talent, delivering memorable customer experiences, and ensuring seamless floor operations with an entrepreneurial spirit and innovation.

Organizational Structure:

The Store Manager of Venice reports to the Retail Director.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
  1. Business and Sales Development: Define and implement commercial strategies to improve boutique performance, monitor KPIs, and coordinate with HQ on store and team development, including buying support based on performance analysis, market trends, and customer feedback.
  2. People Management and Development: Embody Hermès values and culture, develop team members, promote communication about maison history and activities, lead recruitment and performance evaluations, identify training needs, and inspire team engagement.
  3. Customer Experience: Lead the team to identify commercial opportunities, deliver exceptional service, develop client relationships, and enhance clienteling activities.
  4. Operations: Oversee stock management, health & safety compliance, store maintenance, inventory accuracy, and transaction processing.
  5. Compliance: Ensure adherence to company procedures, support audit processes, and maintain system integrity.
PROFILE:
  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in economics or management.
  • Fluent in Italian and English; third language is an advantage.
  • Experience in management, preferably in luxury retail, with international exposure preferred.
  • Proficiency in Excel and IT tools.
  • Leadership qualities aligned with Hermès' humanistic values, charisma, strategic thinking, adaptability, and excellent interpersonal skills.
