Descrizione del lavoro

GENERAL ROLE : As a core member of the retail leadership team, the Store Manager promotes Hermès culture by achieving store excellence, fostering talent development, creating memorable customer experiences, and ensuring seamless operations with an entrepreneurial and innovative approach. The Store Manager of Venice reports to the Retail Director.

Main Responsibilities

  • Business and Sales Development : Define and implement commercial strategies to improve store performance, monitor KPIs, liaise with HQ, and support buying strategies based on performance analysis and market trends.
  • People Management and Development : Embody Hermès values, lead by example, promote team communication, organize training, conduct performance reviews, and participate in recruitment strategies.
  • Customer Experience : Encourage team to identify opportunities and deliver exceptional service, develop action plans for customer experience improvement, and foster clienteling activities.
  • Operations : Oversee stock management, health & safety compliance, store maintenance, inventory accuracy, and transaction processing.
  • Compliance : Ensure team adherence to procedures, support audit processes, and maintain store standards.

Profile

  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in economics or management.
  • Fluent in Italian and English; third language an advantage.
  • Experience in management roles, preferably in luxury retail, with international exposure preferred.
  • Proficient in Excel and IT tools.
  • Strong leadership, exemplary behavior, strategic thinking, adaptability, and customer service orientation.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, team-oriented, flexible, and passionate about human values and aesthetics.
